- Kill 'em All was Metallica's first studio album.
- Re-released by Elektra with 2 extra tracks.
- This album was the record companies' first release.
- Peaked at #100 in spring of 1985 on Billboard.
- Dave Mustaine was asked to leave the band just before Recording(4-11-83).
- Kirk Hammett replaced Mustaine and still remains in the band(4-16-83).
- Recording began May 10,1983 in Rochester, NY... finished on May 27.
- The band complained that they were locked out of the mixing for the
album.
- The Mechanix, an early Metallica song, was worked into "The Four Horsemen".
